To identify the model of a computer device is deadly easy, just following my steps:
An example under Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit)
1.Open ‘Device Manager’
Way one: click ‘ Start‘ of Windows 7, find a tag called ‘Computer’, right-click on it, then click ‘manage’, double click ‘Device Manger’ on the left sidebar of the dialog box, now you are getting a list called device list.
Way two: open ‘Start’ menu, at bottom left corner, you will find a text box called ‘Search programs and files’, input with ‘device manager’ and press your ‘Enter’ button on your keyboard, the device dialog box will pop out before your very eyes.
2. Click on the triangle in front of the device you want to find, as the screenshot below, just search the name ‘Intel (R) 82579V Gigabit Network’ driver in google if you want to find driver for your LAN driver. So easy, huh?
